FRED GOODMAN'S KEY INDICATORS
FOR INVESTMENT SUCCESS
Ghost of Christmas Past Wednesday, December 14,
2011
Fred Goodman
The
week between Christimas and New Years has the lowest volume of any week, and often
has a good return. The
following Price/Volume Charts cover the holiday seasons since 1998. Each
starts on the second Monday of December and concludes on the second Friday in
January. Often we have
been able to predict the outcome by comparing the early days of the season to
each of the charts and selecting the one closest as a model of what to expect. Dow Price/Volume Chart -- Holiday Season 1998-1999
